What really impressed me was how well he handled tricky moments. When the monsoon rains got heavy, he stayed calm and adjusted our approach without any fuss. When one group member moved a bit slower, he organized more breaks and regroup points, especially through areas with past landslides, so we always moved through together.
He also made sure everyone ate enough to keep our energy up. Every evening, with real care, he'd prepare a plate of apples and pomegranate, beautifully arranged, and offer it around to the group, such a lovely touch. On top of that, he was genuinely funny and made the trip more fun. Between his organization, calm handling of tricky situations, and clear care for the group, he made the trek feel easy and enjoyable. Couldn't recommend him more.
