Kathmandu Pokhara Chitwan Tour is an 8 days comprehensive multi-day tour that begins from exploring the historical civilization of Kathmandu Valley. Here you will get an insight into UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It includes Kathmandu Durbar Square with the living Goddess Kumari’s House, Swayambhunath Mahachaitya, the famous Monkey Temple, Pashupatinath Temple, a highly esteemed pilgrimage site for Hindus and Boudhanath among others.
You will then be traveling to the beautiful city of Pokhara the next day, the capital of Gandaki Province. Pokhara is located some 200 kilometers (120 miles) west of the capital, Kathmandu. The city is on the shore of Phewa Lake, and sits at an elevation of 830 m / 2723 ft above sea level. During your tour in Pokhara, you will be visiting the very famous hill of Sarangkot. It is the viewpoint to a beautiful sunrise in the morning with a range of mountains in the foreground.
The visible mountain range here include Machhapuchhre (6993 m), the Fishtail Mountain and Annapurna I-IV (8091 m), the tenth highest peak in the world. Furthermore, other visible range here includes Himchuli, Lamjung Himal, Dhaulagiri (8167 m), the seventh highest peak in the world among others. Additionally, you will also be visiting Davis Fall, Gupteshwar Cave, World Peace Pagoda and Bindhyabasini Temple. You will then end your day with a thrilling boat ride in Phewa Lake.
Day five of the trip begins with a 4-5 hour drive to Sauraha, Chitwan. Visitors will then be exploring the very famous Chitwan National Park the next day. Moreover, the travelers here will try their luck to sight the already endangered Royal Bengal Tiger (Panthera tigris tigris) and the very rare One-Horned Rhino (Rhinoceros unicornis). Furthermore, it is also known as the unicorn of Nepal.

Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan are modern cities with all the facilities available when needed. You may thus pack what you really need during the trip and choose to wear as per your season of visit. Also during the afternoon, sunscreen is very crucial with proper eye shades as well. You might as well carry a bottle of water to stay hydrated.
The summers are moderately hot while the winters are cold enough to carry along a simple down jacket. Additionally, it is recommended to dress in layers if you are planning for the tour during mid winter to keep yourself warm. Similarly, if you want to go on your adventure during the monsoon, you must have proper rain wear.
Also, Chitwan Jungle Safari demands a little extra to be tagged along. Here you will also be traveling to dense forest areas with wild animals. As bright colors like red and yellow make it difficult for you to blend in with your surroundings, darker hues like black, brown, gray or tan are most preferable. Moreover, the idea is to blend into the bush so that wildlife is undisturbed, and you can view them in their natural habitat. Additionally, as you will be in the middle of the jungle, it is highly recommended that you wear full sleeve clothes even in the summer to avoid any insect bites and skin rashes. Also a pair of comfortable shoes that cover your feet effectively are highly recommended.
Note: Despite the proper preparations, you should constantly be ready for insect bites and rashes. It is therefore advisable to keep an insect repellent with you throughout the Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour.
